Today, after rehearsal, we went to the press conference in order to support Satoshi Hatakeyama - the Ainu activist striving to regain the rights of the indigenous people. The speeches given by Satoshi Hatakeyama, Hiroshi Maruyama, Jeff Gayman and other speakers at the conference were a valuable voice in the discourse surrounding the rights of ethnic minorities. During the conference, prof. Hiroshi Maruyama also mentioned the inauguration of the Polish-Japanese project "Independent Without Borders - Poland in Japan".
