日本人の距離 | Monika Wińczyk
音のレコードは距離を抑える方法、つまりは距離を縮める方法になりましたが、強調することにもなりました。その“レコード”というのはアマレヤシアター＆ゲスツ（Amareya Theatre & Guests）のアーティスト、モニカ・ヴィンチク（Monika Wyńczyk）が『ノマドの女（Nomadic Woman）』公演における日本滞在中に採録した現地での録音集のことです。これは彼女の内部に近しいものへの郷愁の（残）響のうちのひとつでもあります。モニカはカセットテープに含まれるその一部についてこう話しています。
それは関係音、近しい音に関連し、その音の中には相手の温かさが意識的で真実であるところの伝統、アニミズム文化、自然への郷愁が含まれています。札幌滞在中、私はアイヌ民族である女性たちと知り合う機会がありました。それは信じられないほどの素晴らしい出会いでした。彼女たちと過ごした数日間で、彼女たちの魂、“日常”、とりわけ少数民族に属することから生じる問題を知り、彼女たちの心の内を感じました。彼女たちの献身、共に日常を組織すること、列での場所の感覚は、あまりにも深く自然に埋め込まれているので、この素晴らしい女性の生き方を愛さずにはいられないのです。
Sound postcards have become a way of taming the distance - reducing it, but also emphasizing it. These sound postcards are a collection of field recordings that Monika Wyńczyk - an artist from Amareya Theatre & Guests - recorded during her stay in Japan (touring with "Nomadic Woman" performance in 2017). This track refers to the sounds that are rooted in relationships, that are close to you and that are loaded with longing for tradition, animistic culture, nature, where one clearly realizes the warmth of the other person and the truth that it’s loaded with. While in Sapporo, I had the opportunity to meet Ainu women. It was an amazing encounter. Being with Ainu women and getting to know their souls, their "everydayness", the problems they are struggling with due to being an ethnic minority, made me feel included, made me feel that I am one of them. Their commitment, the way they organise their everyday life in order to support and sustain the community, their sense of belonging, is so deeply rooted in them that it is impossible not to love these wonderful, feminine beings.
Pocztówki dźwiękowe stały się sposobem na oswajanie dystansu - jego zmniejszanie, ale również uwypuklanie. Są zbiorem nagrań terenowych, które Monika Wyńczyk - artystka Amareya Theatre & Guests - nagrała podczas pobytu w Japonii ("Nomadic Woman"). To jeden z (po)głosów tęsknoty za tym, co jej wewnętrznie bliskie. Monika o jednej z części, które zawarła na kasecie, mówi:
dotyczy dźwięków relacyjnych, bliskich, w których zawarta jest tęsknota do tradycji, do kultury animistycznej, do natury, gdzie ciepło drugiej osoby jest świadome i prawdziwe. Będąc w Sapporo miałam okazję poznać kobiety z ludu Ainu. Było to niesamowite spotkanie, ponieważ, będąc z nimi przez kilka dni, poznając ich dusze, ich „normalność”, problemy z którymi się zmagają spowodowane m. in. byciem w mniejszości etnicznej, poczułam się wewnątrz, jedną z nich. Ich oddanie, wspólnotowe organizowanie codzienności, poczucie miejsca w szeregu jest tak głęboko naturalnie osadzone, że nie sposób nie pokochać tych cudownych, kobiecych bytów.
