Today, “Mainichi Shimbun” 毎日新聞 published a large article authored by Yui Takahashi and dedicated to our project “Independent Without Borders: Poland in Japan”, announcing the oncoming premiere of “(Re)verberations: Bridges Between Poland and Japan” featuring Ainu and Polish artists.

The work on the performance has reached its peak and tomorrow the audience will have the chance to walk through the bridge that Polish artists from Amareya Theatre together with Ainu women have tried to build by cutting out fragments of stories, memories, real life experiences and linking them into an intercultural choreographic patchwork, a collage of reverberations and echos. The actual personal reference to Bronisław Piłsudski's achievements, will also be heard.

The premiere will take place tomorrow (28/09) at Concarino Theatre in Sapporo at 13:30 and 18:30. Apart from Amareya Theatre the audience will also have the chance to see Sapporo Dance Collective led by Shirotama Hitsujiya – a splendid artist and founder of 指輪ホテル / YUBIWA Hotel company with which she performed twice in Poland - Klub Żak (Gdańsk) in 2006 and 2008.
